Location and environment At present this Club has its front 9 open and ready, plus a practice range, but the definite project calls for an 18-holer including a 9-hole par 3 course. Located in the municipal district of Calafell, this club lies only 1 km drive from the Acommodation Apartments Costa d'Or in Calafell Beach. It is surrounded by woods, with views over the Mediterranean and has three significant lake obstacles conceived to satisfy both professionals and experts, while being accessible to amateurs looking for good playing possibilities.  |

Course challenge Our number 1 is a par 5 at almost 500m (547yds) and takes all a good golfer has. Your tee shot should sail at least some 120m (131 yds) to outsmart a ball-guzzling lake lying to the left of the tee, but you should take care to make a proper landing, as the fairways slopes to the right, where lies the first bunker next to a small barranco (ravine), where it is a miracle if you can make a good swing (supposing that you find your ball). Other sand traps lurk around the entrance to the green, which is long but shallow, laid out in two tiers on which the lower tier is uneven with a drop backwards to the front of the green.
