How to arrive to Calafell beach from (Barcelona) Reus airport / Reus-Salou airport, Spain Reus airport is located at 35 km from Calafell beach, Costa Dorada.
This airport is also called Barcelona Reus airport, Reus Salou airport or Tarragona airport.
From Reus airport you can arrive by:
Taxi (about 75.-Eur, 30 min.): There is a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall from
(Barcelona) Reus airport which
cost approximately 65 to 75.-Eur to Calafell beach, and it takes about 30 minutes.
It's better to get a price before leaving from Reus airport.
Rent a car at Reus airport (about 60.-Eur/day, 30 min.)
Once at Calafell we don't recomend you to rent a car because you can visit the most
important places by public transport (like Barcelona, Tarragona, Port Aventura Theme Park in Salou,
Aqualand Water Park).
You would only need the car, if you wanted to visit Montserrat, Ruta del Cister or
Delta de l'Ebre.
Rent a car at Reus airport (about 60.-Eur/day, 30 min.):
But it could be a good option if your plane arrives late and you don't want to take a taxi.

and the next day visit some of the places, where you can not arrive by public transport.
To rent a car at the arrival at Reus airport for 1 day costs about 90.-Eur.
The next day you can do the visit if you want and then we recommed to
return the car to Sitges ( ca. 15 km from Calafell ),
from where you can easly come back to Calafell by train (trains every 30 min).
Sitges is also a nice place to have a walk. If you rent with Europcar you can take
the car at Reus airport and return it to Sitges, just at the side of the train station,
and the you can return to Calafell by train.
The same can be done the departure day to come back to (Barcelona) Reus airport.
Public transport at Reus airport (about 6.-Eur/person, 90 min.):
There is also a bus stop in front of the arrivals door
from Reus airport, from where you can take a bus to Reus Train Station (30 min.).
Bus times depend on flight arrivals.
From Reus Train Sation there are train connections to Calafell .
First of all get the train to Barcelona and get off at St. Vicenç de Calders (about 30 min).
Once at St. Vicenç de Calders transfer to another a train to Barcelona and get off at Calafell (about 5 min).
It will be clearly signposted. These trains depart every 30 min. approx.
Last train from St. Vicenç de Calders to Calafell at 22:00 hrs.
